Brain Games?

I saw an announcement that the games help improve brain IQ and memory, such as brain trainer. Do they really what they claim or can I get the same results by just reading and doing a puzzle casual?

Games that require you to anticipate, analyze and make logical choices will enhance the mental abilities … and yes, these skills are measured by tests IQ. No, man, you should not buy the game brain. Chess and Sudoku puzzles are terrible.
