For many years Nintendo was number one with a value of consoles. Nintendo has been thought as the only console manufacturer with a product dedicated to the game great. However, something extraordinary happened on the consumer front, and there was talk from Sony about to produce a revolutionary gaming device, which will soon be called PlayStation.

Sony has always been at the forefront of consumer electronics. He is the undisputed king! Sony gave us the Walkman, a invention that has been the inspiration for the iPod. The original Sony PlayStation was launched in Japan in 1994 and '95 saw the Sony PlayStation came out everyone. It shares Massive 11 years of availability, and in 2006, Sony has stopped production. However, this was not the end of Sony's Playstation, people could simply not enough high-grade graphics available.

Sony went with the Sony Playstation II. A console which when released had graphics improved exponentially, and the games first. The biggest advantage is that it is backwards compatible with existing PlayStation 1 games. This get the PS2 much of a market.

The PS2 was so powerful that Japan initially imposed export restrictions on the PS2. The PS2 has even said to contain parts, especially its powerful graphics hardware, which could be used to simulate the effects of ballistic missiles Military! No wonder it became so popular.

After his release in 2000, the PlayStation 2 only took 5 years to become the fastest selling console in history, selling a huge 100 million units. In fact, when he was dismissed because of the shortage, many have been sold on eBay for $ 1,000 +!

The Sony PlayStation has transformed the game. He took us out of that 80-style arcade games for today photorealistic 3D games and worlds that are as big and as wide as our Earth! Sony did not stop there, with its high technology innovation. A few months ago, a friend joined me to announce that it has decided to make a significant investment for our future in entertainment. But experience I had when PlayStation 2 entered the premises of my house was not exactly like I first imagined. PlayStation revealed be a pleasure and a gaming experience very enlightening. After the first two weeks I realized that when someone knows how to maintain a balanced life, it is possible to spend time exploring this unique gaming experience without feeling guilty.

Product by Sony Computer Entertainment's PlayStation 2 is the successor to the original PlayStation console was a huge worldwide success since its initial launch. In March 2005, the margin of the PlayStation business exceeded 100.49 million units, becoming the first home console to ever reach the threshold of 100 million games sold. Although the genius creators of the PlayStation consoles argue the new version of the popular video game will advance the user experience, I doubt that this will actually be able to have the same success within the time desired. But I am sure my friend and I will continue to play the PlayStation games of our choice, like NBA 2K6 or Grand Theft Auto, the PLAYSTATION 3 will be outside our budget for at least a while.

Hundreds of games have been released for the PlayStation 2 during the console's lifetime. There are so many years, it may be difficult to choose what you want to buy for your collection. Below is a list of the ten must own games for the PS2 and why they should be in your collection.

2. Gran Turismo 3 – Hands Down the best race simulator. Gran Turismo 3 is a realistic racing game with real cars, real tracks and real-life attributes for each. Racing a VW Bug does not feel different races as a Corvette. Different acceleration, speed and handling for each car and track. And I do not even mention not impressive graphics yet. If you love cars, this is the best racing game you can get.

1. God of War – Great graphics, story epic, almost perfect control. This is the best game on Playstation 2 and one of the best games released last generation. Play as Kratos, as he makes his way through ancient Greece, the fight against mythological creatures and using his powers fallen enemies to defeat enemies come. A best-seller, highly reviewed, and the whole game around much.
