XBL Gamertag: MetalSmasher86 For my first Xbox 360 Guitar Hero video, I thought I’d get one of the bass FCs I always wanted but could never get because the song wasn’t available on Wii. So here’s a bass FC of Tony Solis’s “Guilty Pleasures.” I can safely say this is one of the most fun bass lines I have ever played…ever! The second half is especially epic, and I consider it one of the most epic bass sections in any officially-licensed song ever! This actually didn’t take me that long, only about 3 or 4 tries. I’m actually really consistent on the hard parts, but sometimes I’ll still choke at the very end. When Firestarter322 gets his 360 back, we’re going for a co-op FC! ———————————– Updates: I recently found another reason for me to keep my Wii GH games: backup. My 360 GH controller’s strum bar is already acting weird only a week after getting it. 15 minutes into a session, the strum bar starts acting really erratically. One time when I was practicing the intro of Hark The Herald Angels Sing, sometimes the strum bar wouldn’t register at all, other times it registers multiple times with a single strum. Sometimes when I’m scrolling through a menu, I’ll strum once, and it will register as 3 strums! I’ve always had the best experiences with GH2 and GH3 controllers, so until I can find an Xplorer or Les Paul controller, I’ll be on Wii full-time for GH/RB for the time being. I still have Left 4 Dead and the Modern Warfare games on 360, though, so if …

GHVH Friend Code: 2965-8263-4766 Here’s another video from my last Guitar Hero Van Halen recording session, a guitar FC of Tenacious D’s “Master Exploder”. I’m not entirely sure what the connection is with Van Halen, but it’s still a cool song. Compared to the Rock Band 2 chart, I’d say the chord changes in the acoustic riff are a little harder, but the solos are easier. I have an FC of the RB2 chart recorded on video too, and that will be uploaded soon. I also just finished the bass career, so some GHVH bass vids will be coming too. ———————————– Updates: In my last video I said I wanted to FC WAHNTHAC for Halloween. As of now, I am very close. I hit both choruses, the solo, and the bridge, but I choked in one of the triplet riffs. The FC is definitely possible. Last night was the finals for my GHM tournament. I finished in fourth place, but part of it had to do with the retarded way the tournament was run. Each person picks the song they’ll play out of a hat, and the highest score wins. So if a good player draws a low-scoring song like The Unforgiven, it would give someone less skilled a chance to win if they draw All Nightmare Long or Mercyful Fate.
